Privacy Policy
Table of Contents for Any Article is a browser extension that shows a table of contents for the article on the page you are viewing. This policy explains what information it handles and what it does not do.
Information the extension handles
- Page content. When you open the extension on a tab, it reads that page's headings and text inside your browser to build the outline and to search it.
- Scroll position. While the panel is open, it reads how far you have scrolled to highlight the section you are reading.
- Page address. When you copy the outline with links, the current page's address is used to build those links, and the result is placed on your clipboard.
-
Your settings. Interface language, theme, panel
background and opacity, indentation guides, reading progress, jump
offset, and the panel's layout (floating, docked or edge rail),
position and size are saved with
chrome.storage.localon your device.
All of this stays on your device. None of it is sent to the developer or to anyone else.
What the extension does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or browsing data.
- It makes no network requests and includes no analytics, tracking or advertising.
- It does not run on any page until you open it on that tab, and it never reads other tabs.
- It requires no account.
